Run Out Groove Records Announce today the upcoming release of More of The Monkees (Deluxe Edition) cut by Kevin Gray and Andrew Sandoval from the original analog tapes, complete with gatefold "tip on" jacket, expanded to a double LP with the addition of "debut vinyl" rarities.

Winner of the 2003 Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album, this sublime collaboration with Cuban guitar great Manuel Galbán was issued on vinyl for a blink of the eye and was quickly out of print. Now it's again available on vinyl.

“By the late 1940s, the emergence of vinyl records created new opportunities for graphic artists to express their talent. The new 12'' square format seemed particularly suitable for experimentation and many labels became reputed for their innovative designs. Amazingly gifted artists such as David Stone Martin, Jim Flora, Pierre Merlin, Burt Goldblatt or Reid Miles, to name just a few, made a name for themselves illustrating or designing jazz record covers.

Visual designer and vinyl enthusiast Kate Koeppel offers a collection of wooden laser cut alphabetical record dividers available for both 12" and 7" records stored either vertically or horizontally.

Schiit Audio today announced a pulley update for the SOL turntable that will produce correct speeds on the SOL turntable. The new pulley is currently being prototyped and will go into production within the next 3-4 weeks, after which all current SOL owners will receive one in the mail free of charge.
