Wilson Audio Specialties today launched TuneTot, a compact desk-top loudspeaker intended primarily for near or mid-field listening in the executive suite, boardroom or wherever space is tight. Ideally, the speaker should be placed close to a wall to get low frequency boundary reinforcement benefits.
TuneTot the company’s most compact design since the mid-‘80s launch of the original WATT (Wilson Audio Tiny Tot). Wilson’s literature says it’s designed primarily for use on bookshelves, credenzas, counters and of course desktops—and not simply because of its size.
"TuneTot", is a new Wilson Audio Specialties product that will launch May 10th during High End Munich. That and the above image are all that can be said at this time about "TuneTot" other than it is not for babies, is not related to TaterTots, is not a pair of headphones, is not made in China, does not slice, dice, chop, grind or peel and will not give your children great haircuts or put a fishing rod in your pocket.
This morning the Los Angeles Audio Show scheduled for June 8th-10th at the Hilton Irvine Hotel was suddenly and without warning cancelled via a somewhat bizarre email show organizer Marine de Rogez-Presson sent to participants.
SME Limited announced today that it had acquired Garrard from Gradiente Electronics of Brazil, which in 1979 had acquired the brand name. In addition, SME announced it had acquired Loricraft Audio founded by Terry O'Sullivan who set up shop in Lambourn, West Berkshire close to Garrard's original Swindon manufacturing site.

Rhino releases on June 29th What's That Sound? The Complete Albums Collection Buffalo Springfield's three studio albums newly remastered, sourced from the original analog tapes under Neil Young's "auspices". The boxed set will be available on five CDs, or as a limited to 5000 copies 180g LP edition. Though the group released but 3 LPs, the set includes the mono editions of Buffalo Springfield and Again. The date celebrate's the group's final live concert 50 years ago.
After a more than 30 year absence SAEC's double knife-edged bearing tone arm is once again in production and will be available through DS Exports, DS Audio's new export division. DS Audio, of course manufactures a line of "optical" cartridges and dedicated phono preamplifiers.

These photos, showing the line stretched around the block, are from last week's Record Store Day. Clearly customers did "Comeback" to Comeback Vinyl!
