Lenco’s Latest Bluetooth Turntables
Remember Lenco? The 75-year-old turntable and accessories maker of Swiss origins have been returning to a more active role in the hi-fi market in recent years. Lenco presented several of their products — including a few new turntables, some of which are aptX 5.2 Bluetooth-equipped — on passive display at High End Munich 2025.
Winston Eade, an affable third-party rep, provided some additional details. The new Lenco LBT-215BK turntable (€299), an entry-level model, is now available. (Footnote 1) As the “BT” in the front end of its name suggests, this table has Bluetooth connectivity as well as RCA outputs and a USB-A port to facilitate vinyl-to-MP3 archiving. The “BK” in the back half of this new table’s name signals its piano black finish.
The Lenco LBT-215BK table also has a built-in phono preamp, which is defeatable — quite handy in case you already have a phono pre, or want to upgrade — and an Audio-Technica AT-V95E cartridge comes attached.
New to the U.S. market is another Lenco table with Bluetooth connection, the LBT-225 (€379), a model that comes with a glass platter and a carbon-fiber tonearm, at the end of which is an included Audio-Technica AT-VM95E cartridge.
Another step-up in the company’s Bluetooth turntable range is the Lenco LBT-345 (€479) and LBT-345WA (“WA” stands for its walnut finish, as seen above), both of which ship with a record stabilizer and an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge.
Also available is the mid-tier Lenco LBT-335BA table with bamboo finish, and a cork slip mat. The 345 and 355 models are also aptX Bluetooth-equipped, and come with defeatable built-in phono preamplification.
Another new product in Lenco’s upper-tier is the L-455 turntable. Designed with (comparatively) more audiophile appeal in mind, the L-455 (or the L-455BK, with “BK” standing for, of course, its black finish) has a visible belt and more metal, including a metal tonearm and an aluminum platter with rubber mat for damping. (Footnote 2)
The L-455 table also has an internal phono preamp and a USB port, but no Bluetooth. Other upgrades include automatic speed correction, and a removable dust cover.
Lenco also presented some accessories, such as their turntable set-up kit for more hands-on vinyl lovers and audiophiles that’s called the Lenco Expert 12 in 1 Turntable Care Kit — a.k.a. the TTA-12IN1PRO, with its own metal carrying case (seen in its closed position below).
Part 9 will be coming soon!
