Romanel, Switzerland – Wednesday 24th November 2021—Nagra celebrates 70 years with a limited edition Reference Anniversary Turntable. According to the press release, the new turntable is the result of four year’s worth of R&D by a team of designers and engineers in the fields of applied physics, mechanical and electronic engineering and material science.

TechDAS introduced the new Model V turntable at the Tokyo Audio Show 2017. Like the more expensive Ar Force turntables, the new compact turntable features an air bearing, vacuum hold-down platter. Unlike the more costly TechDas turntables the Model V does not feature an outboard motor, nor does it include a suspension system.

Oswalds Mill Audio demoed yesterday (Feb. 27th) at its Brooklyn showroom the K3— a brand new, more than 3 years in the planning and manufacturing direct drive turntable that aims to define "state of the turntable art".
