Here's a special three hour AnalogPlanet Radio WFDU HD2 tribute to the late Rudy Van Gelder that aired today. Below in the set list but not inserted in the list are the many segments of an on-air interview pianist/musicologist Ben Sidran conducted during the mid 1980's with Rudy Van Gelder used here with Sidran's permission.

Analog Planet Radio's first annual Halloween Show is now available for downloading.

With this Direct to Disk show, Analog Planet Radio expands its Monday noon show to two hours. This is also the first show to be broadcast over the air on WFDU-FM's HD2 channel. The antenna is located atop the Alpine Tower built on the New Jersey Palisades by General Edward Howard Armstrong, invented of FM radio. He built it there so it would be visible to his nemesis RCA's Dr. David Sarnoff.

Today’s Analogplanet Radio show on WFDU.fm HD2 was sourced excusively from lacquers, with the exception of the first tune.

October third's AnalogPlanet radio show was an all-Rolling Stones radio show that directly compared original American London and UK Decca mono pressings with the new The Rolling Stones in Mono ABKCO box set (one comparison included the mono first album in the ABKCO stereo box set).
