Interesting... at least from this photo, this cartridge doesn't seem to have the same asymmetrical body design as the Atlas, and the body seems to be conposed of more individual parts as well, was it too costly to use an Atlas style body, or do they want the Atlas to remain King?
Lyra's New Etna Cartridge For the First Time!
This is a photo of Lyra's new Etna cartridge. While it may not spew lava, hopefully the name refers to its volcanic-like dynamic range.
The new Etna is priced around the cost of the former top of the line Titan i, which it will eventually replace, and incorporates design elements from the sensational top of the line Atlas.
The Etna was not launched at High End 2013 but Jonathan Carr and Stig were carrying one and when they saw me, the proud "parents" couldn't help themselves and Jonathan whipped it out of his jacket pocket to show me.
The cartridge will launch later this year but you get to see it first.
