Mack Avenue Records will re-issue the 3 CD set Oscar With Love on November 17th—shortly before the 10th anniversary of Peterson's passing. A deluxe 5 LP edition will follow some time in 2018.

Peterson's wife Kelly produced the original package all recorded in Oscar Peterson's home studio on his personal "hand picked" Bösendorfer piano. Among the greats traveling to Peterson's home to perform there are Chick Corea, Monty Alexander, Ramsey Lewis, Kenny Barron, Benny Green and Bill Charlap, with two contributions by Peterson's friend Michel Legrand.

Kelly Peterson's own Two Lions Records originally released this set (the "two lions" were Peterson and his good friend, manager and record producer Norman Granz), which Mack Avenue will reissue as both a standard 3 CD digipak edition and a deluxe collector's edition featuring a 100+ page commemorative book. Plus of course the deluxe 5 LP set coming next year. Oscar Peterson's recorded output featured consistently high quality sound, which no doubt was not accidental. With Mack Avenue involved, chances are good Kevin Gray will cut lacquers and RTI will press (if we hear otherwise, we'll let you know!).
