Hrusa is one of the most accomplished and exciting conductors of his generation, and the Bamberg Symphony has a long and venerable tradition, though is probably less familiar to general music lovers than the LSO, BPO, VPO etc. Wonderful that Mallard is expanding his direct-to-disc recordings. This will be on my must-buy list (nothing yet on the Accentus website).
Emil Berliner Studios Records For Accentus Music Smetana’s “Má vlast” Recorded Direct-to Disc!
The production used but 4 microphones. Only 1111 copies will be available as a limited, and numbered international edition from Accentus Music. As soon as purchasing details become available we will provide the details.

I looked up by label on Naxos Direct and it’s listed as a pre-order at $134.00. I’m not sure if that’s the best source or not for a guaranteed copy.
Michael, wondering if you know anything about or will be listening to any of the new Project vinyl releases? They say they're all-analog, although that can sometimes be misleading info. with these reissue companies. The Bohm Beethoven 6th they are offering is a classic recording and would be worth owning if they've done it right. Original DG LPs can be very hit and miss, though DG vinyl is not always as bad as collectors like to make out. I've got some large tulip pressings which sound amazing, and even some much later records from the 70s which sound terrific.
The Böhm 6th is (apart from Furtwängler) the best I ever listened.
Clicking on the "Buy" button yields nothing.
I checked it before posting yesterday, I was able to get as far as the checkout before supplying an address, and then stopped. Also works today.
Thanks. I tried a different browser and still couldn't get there. I click on the link and it goes nowhere. Interesting.
I actually had to buy it twice because my neighbour also wanted a copy, and couldn't make it work. I later found out that it was because he tried ordering via an iPhone, so it would seem that some platforms unfortunately do not play well together with the BPO website.
So maybe they did sell out
on this site, put it in the shopping basket
The Bruckner is listed on Naxos Direct with a note saying, "Few in stock". I wouldn't get my hopes up but if you're looking for a copy it's got to be worth a try. As others have said, it's a beautifully produced set and the circumstances of the recording give it a special significance. I haven't listed to mine yet; I'm saving it for the right occasion. https://naxosdirect.com/items/anton-bruckner-symphonie-nr.-543223
Thank you for the tips and heads up. Pre ordered one successfully on Naxos Direct.
One of the very best, in my experience.
