Vinyl Obsession: Revilla Grooves on Main Thrives in the Age of Streaming

Sound&Vision writer Bob Ankosko just filed this story about a record store in Milltown, NJ that I'm sure analogPlanet readers will enjoy reading.

I live 40 minutes south of the store. I'll be making my first visit next week.

I was there yesterday thanks to this post. It is a very nice store with a huge choice of vinyls. While I was there, I bought two vinyls and I am sure that I will come back for more!

Thanks again,
Sophia

.....he is 'one of us': VPI Classic One, Lyra Argo, Audio Research PH-2. All record dealers and store owners are not like this, although a surprising number are.

I'll admit some stores have good equipment, but the store closest to me doesn't "get" why anyone should pay $25-$30 for a 180g reissue when he has the same record for $3 in his store. He stocks a few dozen 180g titles but that's it. Given the condition of about 60% of what I have bought from there in recent years, I can see why they don't see the advantage to good vinyl playback systems.
