On Saturday December 6th I participated in a fascinating panel discussion at the Philoctetes Center for the Multidisciplinary Study of Imagination titled: Deep Listening: Why Audio Quality Matters. Mastering veteran, Sterling Sound's Greg Calbi moderated a panel that included Sony/Legacy Senior VP Steve Berkowitz, recording engineer Kevin Killen (Peter Gabriel, U2, Bryan Ferry, Kate Bush), record producer Craig Street (Cassandra Wilson, Chris Whitley, etc.) and Evan Cornog Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and Publisher of Columbia Journalism Review.
