About the prize:
The Hana EH cartridge is a high-output moving coil (MC) cartridge that comes in a moss-green body, weighs 5g, and houses a cross-coil generator. The synthetic elliptical stylus is mounted to an aluminum cantilever. Specs for the Hana EH include a vertical tracking force of 2g, trackability of 70µm/2g, and suggested load impedance of >47kƱ. The Hana EH is also plug-and-play-compatible with MM phono stages found in integrated amplifiers and A/V receivers.

I didn't even know this was a thing: "The Hana EH is also plug-and-play-compatible with MM phono stages found in integrated amplifiers and A/V receivers." So you can use certain (high-output?) MC cartridges with MM phono stage? I have more to learn!
Not much left here on my side of town (Southwest Portland) for vinyl shopping. The nearby Everyday Music in Beaverton was my go-to, but that closed down several years ago. Even the local Walmart cleared out their vinyl section when I was there in August (see how desperate I am for any close-by vinyl stacks to flip through?). Local thrift stores only have crap (but occasionally decent used CDs) ... So I spend all my vinyl money shopping on Discogs, etc.

My favorite record store of all time is Rasputin’s in Berkely, CA. It’s been several years since I went there, because I live in Idaho, but it’s real,easy to drop a couple hundred bucks there.

Sitting on the most prominent corner of cozy West Seattle, Easy Street is a time suck for any music lover. Good thing they have a cafe attached, because after realizing hours have been spent on new, used, and collectible vinyl perusing, one can get a might peckish. They've hosted live bands there many times, recording Pearl Jam, Brandi Carlile, and others for LP release. I hope that comes back!

I actually have two favorite record stores. The Princeton Record Exchange in Princeton, New Jersey, and Turntable Treasures in Tacoma, Washington.

Noble Records in Matthews, NC. New arrivals are always just that... new arrivals. They are constantly buying HUGE record collections so store's used inventory is always changing and growing!

Favorite record store is Watt's Music in Novato, CA. Old school charm.
Earth Pig Records in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Incredibly clean/used records. A tad pricy since the son has taken over, but offers the most store credit for trade-ins.
Spinnaker in Hyannis MA. They have continued to stay relevant over decades and still the prices are decent for used vinyl. Record Store Day is always presented well and I always look forward for crate diving.

Why is this only open to United States residents? For an extra dollar or two of postage you could include your world wide readership in this. Come on, think outside the USA for once. Oh, and Dutch Vinyl, Johnson St, Melbourne.
That is the million-dollar question... But it will be either Rage Against the Machine's debut album of the same name or Wave by Antonio Carlos Jobim... Very different, I know! But both are fantastic albums and both of my pressings will showcase the Cart.
